<p>Quite some time ago—running on three years to be precise—I had an idea for an iPhone application. The idea was to utilize the iPhones camera function to sample colors and display their different values for design. While my idea never made it past the conceptual stages there are several existing products that work pretty well.</p>
<h3><strong>CliqCliq Colors</strong></h3>
<p>CliqCliq has a pretty nice app. You snap a photo and it pulls out the color palette for you.</p>
